If you're looking to upgrade your Burlington area commutes with a luxury sedan from BMW, the 3 Series is ready today, and we're ready to help you get to know it better.
What's New for the 2023 BMW 3 Series?
A continuation of the popular sedan's seventh generation, the 2023 version of the BMW 3 Series brings a handful of updates and a couple design tweaks. For example, fans of the previous model year will notice that both the front and rear bumpers are redesigned for 2023, as well as the headlights and the front grille, which is a little wider than in previous years.
Additionally, on the inside, the 2023 3 Series also gets a handful of updates, including a new, curved center console design, which holds both the touchscreen interface and the driver's digital display. Also, the number of buttons for drivers has been reduced, with some functionalities relegated strictly to the touchscreen display rather than with traditional buttons and knobs.
Interior and Exterior Design
In addition to offering the exciting updates and changes inside and out that are detailed above, the BMW 3 Series also continues to offer many of the characteristics that have made it a household name that generations of drivers have love for many years. It's still a sleek, sophisticated, four-door sedan with a spacious interior and comfortable seating for five people, and offering a secure rear trunk for cargo transport.
Inside, Hanover, NH and Plattsburgh, NY drivers will be happy to know that the BMW tradition of elegant engineering and high-end craftsmanship continues with this 2023 update. Many sought-after luxury amenities are standard here, with others available as you explore available trims.
Power and Trim Configurations
There's something for every driver in Williston or Stowe when you test drive the new BMW 3 Series. This car has three well-equipped trim levels available, each of which has its own coordinating powertrain to go with it. Which one appeals to you comes down to your personal preference for performance and features, with a lineup that includes:
- BMW 330i. The base model starts things off with a standard, turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain. It produces 255 horsepower with 294 pound-feet of torque, and it comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
- BMW 330e. Expect a boost in both power and efficiency with this model, which is a plug-in hybrid version, powered by a similar turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the previous trim, but here it works in conjunction with a rechargeable electric motor to produce 288 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. It also has a nice 23-mile all-electric driving range.
- BMW M340i. At the top of the lineup, this impressive 3 Series model gets its power from a turbo six-cylinder engine. It has an output rating of 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
Regardless of which of the above trim and engine combinations you go for, you can expect genuine BMW craftsmanship and performance on each one, as well as standard rear-wheel drive with signature BMW xDrive all-wheel drive available as an option.
